We are approved by the Illinois Secretary of State to offer Apportion Plates to new applicants and renewals for those who already have Apportion Plates. We can assist all apportion plated individuals and companies who need to add additional units to their fleet, transfer plates from one unit to another, replace plates that have been lost, stolen or in bad condition, and provide temporaries to keep the unit moving when necessary. We can also take care of all your truck title issues, from transferring a title from one owner to another, taking care of back-to-back titles, to filing the documents required to replace a lost or misplaced title.
We are recognized by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the Department of Transportation and the Illinois Commerce Commission to apply for Federal and Illinois Authority and provide all the “extras” required to complete the authority such as BOC-3 Forms, Unified Carrier Registration and Illinois Cab Cards. We work hand-in-hand with the Illinois Department of Revenue to provide first-time Illinois Fuel Tax Decals (IFTA) and add, replace or renew IFTA Decals. We work with the states of Kentucky, New Mexico, New York and Oregon to acquire permits for each of your units entering those states. We also maintain an inventory of the permitted states so when it is necessary for you to add a unit, delete a unit or renew expiring permits, we can take care of it for you.
Our Fuel Tax Department handles all quarterly (monthly for Oregon) fuel tax reporting. They work very closely with the Department of Revenue by filing all quarterly fuel taxes in a timely manner to avoid penalties and interest. Reports are required to be filed quarterly in Illinois, Kentucky and New Mexico and monthly for the state of Oregon. A monthly or quarterly report (whichever you prefer) is sent to you so that you can see the miles travelled and the fuel purchased by unit by state.
Aable has a mass emailing and blast calling system that emails and calls every client to notify them of upcoming requirements that need attention. For instance, an email and phone call will be sent out for renewals of plates and permits, and reminders when it is time to file quarterly fuel taxes! This gives all our customers a “double” heads-up as to what is required to stay active, running legally and without penalty.
